Eddie George started his freshman year, in 1991, as a running back at Ohio State University. The following year he was the team's third string running back and became the starting running back during his senior year, rushing for 1,442 yards and 12 touchdowns. In 1995, however, George created a school record of 1,927 completed yards and 24 touchdowns, and also won the famous Heisman Trophy Award. Overall, he came second in a historic school career for 3,768 rushing yards and third for 44 rushing touchdowns. In May of 2011, he was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame, and in 1996, he was the NFL Rookie of the Year. Eddie George has hand-signed this Riddell miniature replica helmet. It comes complete with a Certificate of Authenticity from Palm Beach Photographs and a photographic print of George during the actual signing.
